According to CryptoSlate, a batch of long-dormant Ethereum wallets was recently emptied in bulk, with the associated funds flowing into a single address labeled by Etherscan as (Fake_Phishing2831105). CryptoSlate reports that over 500 wallets are suspected to be affected, with total losses amounting to approximately $800,000. Among these, over 260 ETH (around $600,000) has already been transferred. Many of these wallets had been inactive for 4 to 8 years. The related address shows 596 transactions and transferred 324.741 ETH to THORChain Router v4.1.1 around April 30. The attack vector remains unconfirmed, but it may involve old private keys, seed phrases, legacy wallet tools, or key management risks.
