According to a Reuters investigation, Iran's largest crypto exchange, Nobitex, was founded and controlled by members of the Kharrazi family, who are closely connected to the country's top leadership. The platform has become a key channel for bypassing Western sanctions, reportedly used by sanctioned entities like the Central Bank of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to transfer funds, with transaction volumes ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars. At the same time, Nobitex serves approximately 11 million users domestically in Iran, accounting for over 10% of the country's population, providing ordinary citizens with access to crypto assets and global markets. Even during wartime and under internet restrictions, the platform has continued to operate, processing over $100 million in transactions. Although the company denies direct ties to the government and claims such fund flows are isolated incidents, blockchain analysis and multiple investigations indicate that Nobitex plays a central role in Iran's parallel financial system. https://(wublock123.com)/news/nobitex-allegedly-sanctions-evade-channel-irgc-funds-transfer-60421
