In a Fox Business interview, Treasury Secretary Bessent dropped his 2 cents on Powell. 1. Powell staying on the Fed board after his chair term ends is unusual. The last time this happened it was at a sitting president's request. 2. It's an insult to think he alone can maintain the Fed's integrity. 3. Worst inflation in recent history was on his watch. 4.
