[BNP Paribas: Despite Relatively Strong U.S. Economic Growth, the Dollar is Still Expected to Weaken]
According to a report by Golden Finance on April 29, Sam Lynton-Brown, Global Head of Macro Strategy at BNP Paribas, stated that although U.S. economic growth is relatively stronger compared to other regions of the world, the bank still expects the dollar to weaken. He pointed out that the structural trend of diversified capital outflows from the dollar may still emerge. 'This trend was already evident in 2025, primarily led by European investors, and we believe this trend could expand in 2026.' BNP Paribas expects the euro to rise above 1.20 against the dollar this year.
