Whoa, huge news just dropped! The SEC chairman is laying it all out—America is about to fully embrace asset tokenization, basically moving all of Wall Street into the crypto world!
Last night, Paul Atkins revealed in an interview that regulators are planning to release an 'innovation exemption' policy in the coming weeks. This will allow companies to experiment, issue, and trade securitized tokens directly on U.S.-based blockchains.
At the same time, they’re rolling out a brand-new framework called 'Reg Cryptos,' officially opening the door for businesses to legally raise funds by selling tokens on-chain.
He also made it clear that, alongside the 'Clarity Act' currently being pushed in Congress, regulators are ready to turn legislation into actionable rules.
The main goal behind these moves is crystal clear: to provide the market with a transparent compliance pathway, ensuring that innovative projects and capital stay in the U.S. instead of being forced overseas.
