**[Tether Launches Bitcoin Mining Open Infrastructure Layer MDK]** Golden Finance reported on April 27 that Tether announced the launch of the Mining Development Kit (MDK). MDK is an open-source, full-stack development framework designed to provide Bitcoin miners and developers unified control over their entire infrastructure stack. MDK adopts an open modular architecture and agnostic interfaces, combining a JavaScript backend SDK and a React UI component library to replace the closed proprietary systems that have caused mining operations to become fragmented over the years. The framework is suitable for all users, ranging from home miners to gigawatt-scale mining farms, and supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, effectively avoiding vendor lock-in. MDK includes an independently operable core layer (MDK Core) and a UI development suite, enabling rapid development of operational dashboards, automated workflows, mining pool management tools, and analytics pipelines. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that MDK will provide infrastructure support for the next generation of Bitcoin mining centered on automation and optimization.
