[Survey: Crypto Market Slump Causes One-Third of Cryptocurrency Traders to Cut Daily Expenses] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on April 27, a recent survey by CEX.IO revealed that the recent downturn in the cryptocurrency market has forced over one-third of cryptocurrency traders to reduce their daily expenses. The survey, conducted among 1,100 active U.S. users of CEX.IO, shows that the current market slump is putting pressure on household finances, although the impact is not as severe as in 2022, when Bitcoin's price dropped approximately 75% from its peak. Currently, Bitcoin's price remains about 40% lower than its October 2025 high, leaving many retail investors facing unrealized losses. 36% of respondents stated that they have reduced daily expenses due to market conditions, with 10% indicating that these cuts represent significant sacrifices made to maintain their current investment positions. Additionally, 37% of respondents reported delaying or canceling purchase plans due to cryptocurrency trading losses, including 21% who postponed major financial expenditures such as buying a house, purchasing a car, or undertaking renovations.
