[Suspect in White House Correspondents' Dinner Security Incident to Be Indicted on the 27th]
Odaily Planet Daily News – On April 26 local time, U.S. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that a search warrant had been executed on the suspect involved in the White House Correspondents' Dinner security incident. It is believed that the suspect traveled by train from Los Angeles, passing through Chicago, to Washington, D.C. Blanche indicated that the suspect would be indicted in federal court on the morning of the 27th. Blanche said the gunman at the White House Correspondents' Dinner 'intended to attack government officials, possibly including the President himself.' Blanche also noted that investigators have been able to gather some information from the suspect's electronic devices and have interviewed individuals who know him, beginning to form a preliminary understanding of his motives.
