Wu Blockchain reports that Litecoin revealed a zero-day vulnerability in its MimbleWimble Extension Block (MWEB) privacy layer. This flaw allowed some outdated nodes to validate invalid transactions, triggering a DoS attack on mining pools. Attackers exploited this to transfer funds to third-party DEXs. The network subsequently reorganized approximately 13 blocks to roll back the invalid transactions, with normal transactions remaining unaffected. The vulnerability has now been fixed, and the network is back to normal operations. https://(wublock123.com)/news/litecoin-zero-day-exploit-13-block-reorg-invalid-tx-rollback-60112
