Suddenly remembered when I first got into US stocks back in 2017. The first two stocks I bought were Tesla, which was around $300+ per share, and AMD, which I got at $11. I remember it so clearly because I bought it at a short-term high and got stuck right after buying... A few months later, the Bitcoin bull run started. I sold all my US stocks to buy Bitcoin. When I sold, I probably didn’t lose or make much. Looking back now, the BTC I bought back then (should’ve been around $3K-$4K) still hasn’t outperformed AMD. Absolutely mind-blowing… Of course, this is just me daydreaming. In theory (and I mean *just* in theory), you could hold BTC for 10 years without touching it. But there’s no way I’d have held onto AMD from $11 until now without selling
