Wu Blockchain reports that Aave DAO has released an ARFC governance proposal to participate in the DeFi United collaborative recovery plan, aiming to fund the asset support gap caused by the Kelp rsETH cross-chain bridge incident on April 18, 2026. The initial gap from the incident was approximately 163,183 ETH, and after asset freezes and liquidations, the remaining gap is about 75,081 ETH. So far, around 14,570 ETH in donations have been received, along with a credit line of up to 30,000 ETH provided by Mantle. The proposal requests 25,000 ETH from the DAO treasury to help fill the gap, with this contribution being a fixed commitment.
