Independent researcher Giancarlo Lelli cracked a 15-digit elliptic curve key using public quantum hardware, earning a 1 BTC reward from Project Eleven and setting a new record for the largest public quantum attack demonstration to date. Industry estimates suggest that the resources required to fully crack a 256-bit ECC have dropped to around 500,000 physical qubits, putting approximately 6.9 million Bitcoin with exposed public keys at potential risk. This is accelerating the push for quantum-resistant migration solutions, including BIP-360. (CoinDesk) https://(wublock123.com)/news/news-60069
