OP ultimately couldn't keep Base. @base plans to undergo the Azul hard fork upgrade on May 13th, officially breaking away from the OP Stack Superchain ecosystem. Base's strategic blueprint is to build a fully self-controlled unified tech stack, no longer following the rhythm of OP Stack, but directly aligning with the Ethereum Osaka execution layer specifications. To put it bluntly, Base is very likely to build its own 'Superchain' ecosystem based on the Base Stack moving forward. Another subchain split game. Same formula, same vibe.
