Succinct Launches iPhone Camera App ZCAM, Enabling Real-Time Encryption and Signature Authentication for Photos and Videos

Foresight News reports that ZK proof software Succinct has launched the iPhone camera app ZCAM. At the moment of photo or video capture, ZCAM hashes the raw pixels and signs them using a key generated by Apple Secure Enclave. It then uses the Apple App Attest service to generate proof, ensuring the signature originates from the ZCAM app itself. Finally, the hash, signature, and proof are embedded into the file in the form of a C2PA manifest. Anyone can independently verify that the media content genuinely comes from a real device and has not been altered or AI-generated. ZCAM is now available on the iOS App Store, and users can download and experience it.
