Belarus to Allow 'Crypto Banks' to Support 26 Cryptocurrencies and 11 Types of Services

According to the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, Alexander Egorov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus, revealed at the 'Digital Banking 2026' conference that Belarus will allow crypto banks to support 26 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Toncoin, Solana, and other mainstream coins as well as stablecoins. Additionally, they will be permitted to conduct 11 types of services, such as crypto deposits, crypto loans, crypto staking, crypto asset collateral, crypto asset transfers between individuals and legal entities, issuance of proprietary tokens by crypto banks, crypto asset exchange, and custody services. Egorov stated that the list is 'dynamic' and will be supplemented and refined based on investor demand and practical operations. The relevant legislative basis is Decree No. 19, 'On Measures to Regulate Crypto Banks and Digital Tokens (Tokens),' signed by the President of Belarus.
