[Senior Republican Officials Pressure Lutnick to Withdraw Crypto PAC's $1.75 Million Support for Texas Primary]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on April 24, according to Axios, the cryptocurrency super political action committee Fellowship PAC, funded by Cantor Fitzgerald, the former company of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, disclosed in Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings its plan to invest $1.75 million in support of Ken Paxton during the Texas primary runoff. This move has raised alarms among senior Republican officials. Several high-ranking Republican leaders called Lutnick on Tuesday, urging him to intervene and rectify the situation. Republican leaders are concerned that this action could interfere in a sensitive intra-party primary—especially as Trump has yet to take a clear stance between Paxton and Senator John Cornyn.
