**[Bitmine Increases $320 Million in Staked Ethereum, Staking Ratio Surpasses 70%]**
Odaily Planet Daily News: Ethereum reserve company Bitmine, founded by Tom Lee, has added approximately $320 million worth of staked ETH in the past 24 hours, bringing over 70% of its total holdings into staking for yield generation. On-chain data shows that around 75,600 ETH were transferred to Coinbase Prime for staking on Thursday morning, following a configuration of approximately 61,200 ETH on Wednesday—the first large-scale operation in nearly three weeks.
Blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain indicates that Bitmine has now staked approximately 3.5 million ETH, valued at around $8.1 billion, accounting for roughly 70.1% of its total holdings. Additionally, reports suggest that three new wallets suspected to be associated with the company received approximately 100,000 ETH (around $234 million) before Thursday. If confirmed, Bitmine's total holdings would rise to approximately 5.08 million ETH.
In comparison, the industry's second-largest holder, SharpLink, currently holds only about 869,000 ETH, with Bitmine's scale leading by over 580%. The company now controls more than 4.1% of Ethereum's total supply, nearing its target level of 5%.
