[Solana Co-Founder Calls for 'Return to Open-Source Immutable Software,' Says More Confident Than Ever in Removing Admin Keys]
Solana co-founder Toly posted on the X platform, calling for a 'return to open-source immutable software,' and stated that he is more confident than ever in removing admin keys. He deployed an immutable binary program called percolator, with approximately 5 SOL deposited in the insurance vault. All admin keys have been destroyed, and he is unable to make any modifications to the market or the program. The program is purely a risk engine, incapable of trading or providing quotes on its own. Toly has offered a bounty of these 5 SOL, encouraging anyone to attempt hacking or manipulating the engine, and stated that if successful (especially through AI), he will do his best to help them secure a job or angel investment.
