Adult website Pornhub stops using USDT for creator sharing and switches to USDC On April 23rd, according to Protos, adult website Pornhub has stopped using Tether (USDT) for creator income settlement and instead adopted Circle issued USDC. Pornhub stated in an email to creators that the switch aims to make revenue payments "more reliable" and emphasized that USDC is a fully reserve supported, compliant stablecoin that complies with the EU MiCA regulatory framework. Pornhub previously introduced USDT after PayPal announced the termination of its partnership with the platform in 2020, and used Sun Yuchen's TronLink wallet to build its payment infrastructure. After this switch, the aforementioned partnership has also been removed from its creator page.
