I discussed defense cooperation with Spain’s Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles. We count on the expansion of the SAFE instrument and the emergence of new products from our joint production. I briefed the Minister on the frontline situation and on Russia’s constant strikes. I am grateful for Spain’s support of Ukraine’s air defense with HAWK and Patriot missiles. This equipment is in short supply, which is why Spain’s assistance is so vital for our protection against massive Russian attacks. I thank the Minister, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and all of Spain for their support throughout all these years.
