[Meta Plans to Monitor Employee Mouse and Keyboard Activity to Train AI Models Internally] Odaily Planet Daily reports that Meta has found a new source of training data for its AI models: its own employees. The company plans to use data collected from employee mouse movements and keyboard inputs to build more powerful and efficient artificial intelligence. A company spokesperson stated: 'If we are to build intelligent agents that help people complete everyday tasks on computers, our models need real-world examples to understand how people actually use computers—such as moving the mouse, clicking buttons, and navigating dropdown menus. To this end, we will introduce an internal tool to capture these input actions within specific applications to help train our models. We have implemented appropriate safeguards to ensure the security of sensitive content, and this data will not be used for any other purpose.' (TechCrunch)
