[US Media: SpaceX Reportedly Agrees to Acquire AI Company Cursor for Over $50 Billion] According to Jintou citing The New York Times, two sources familiar with the matter revealed that SpaceX has agreed to acquire Cursor for over $50 billion. Cursor is a rapidly growing AI startup focused on developing code-writing software. This deal comes as SpaceX is preparing for what could be one of the largest IPOs in history. Founded in 2022, Cursor has raised over $3 billion in funding and, as one of the fastest-growing AI startups, has caused a sensation. SpaceX previously stated that Cursor had granted SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor for $60 billion, or alternatively, SpaceX could choose to pay $10 billion for the results of their collaboration.
