WARSH VOWS TO KEEP DISTANCE FROM WHITE HOUSE ON FED RATE DECISIONS Federal Reserve Chair nominee Kevin Warsh told Congress on Tuesday that he did not promise President Donald Trump that he would lower interest rates — but avoided saying how their views diverge on economic policy.
