What a scam, @0xfluid Fluid launched this aWETH asset swap thing, and everyone on Twitter is hyping it up. But why is no one mentioning their own ETH V2 Lite Vault? Users who deposited into this vault can’t withdraw a single penny right now. The official site shows a deposit balance of 20,591 ETH ($47,776,925). But when you try to withdraw ETH, you get an error saying insufficient withdrawable balance. Tried using the swap path provided by @DefiLlama to directly sell Fluid’s deposit receipt. One of the paths via KyberSwap shows a 1:1 swap to stETH. But when you actually try to swap, it also throws an error. The only other option is to sell at a 60% discount (didn’t try, just saw this path on LlamaSwap). Scrolled through @0xfluid’s official Twitter, and it’s all good news with zero mention of the ETH Lite Vault issue. These DeFi protocols always turn into ostriches when it matters most, burying their heads in the sand while leaving their bare butts exposed. So infuriating.
