According to Yonhap News, data released by the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea shows that the total number of financial complaints in South Korea reached 128,400 in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%, with the average processing time extended to 46.6 days. Notably, complaints related to virtual assets have risen rapidly since the category was established, increasing by 4,088 cases in the past six months, a year-on-year surge of 1,014.4%, mainly involving issues such as the non-distribution of exchange API activity rewards.
