[Nansen Launches Pay-Per-Call Model, Enabling Instant On-Chain Data Access via x402]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Nansen has announced the introduction of a pay-per-call model, leveraging the x402 protocol and PayAI infrastructure to optimize on-chain data access. This model allows users to instantly query wallet data, fund flows, and "smart money" signals through USDC micropayments, without requiring subscriptions, approvals, or API keys. The system utilizes the HTTP 402 mechanism to automate the "request-billing-payment-response" process, enabling AI agents to independently handle calls and payments. Nansen stated that the new model has been integrated across its entire API ecosystem, with basic data query pricing set at approximately $0.01 per call and advanced signals priced at around $0.05 per call, supporting settlements on both the Base and Solana networks.
