Ethereum didn't create rollups, nor could they have prevented them. Their rise was inevitable. The more interesting question is thus - should Ethereum haven taken a different stance toward them, and/or tried to arbitrage away rollups unique advantages? The answers are not obvious(Hasu⚡️🤖)
