Japanese stablecoin project JPYC announced the completion of a Series B second-round financing of approximately 2.8 billion yen (around $18.6 million), bringing the total funding to about 4.6 billion yen. The funds will be used for ecosystem expansion, system development, and compliance and business capacity building. JPYC is a yen-pegged stablecoin currently issued on Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, and other chains.
