Foresight News reports live that Mao Haiyang, CEO of HashKey Group's exchange business unit, announced at the '2026 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival' that HashKey Exchange will collaborate with Shanghai Commercial Bank to launch a co-branded Visa credit card, with registration opening on May 11. This card is one of the first co-branded Visa credit cards in Asia jointly issued by a bank and a licensed digital asset exchange. The card requires no deposit or collateral, and all transactions are completed in fiat currency. Cardholders can choose to repay using either digital assets or fiat currency without incurring high fees for digital asset conversion. Users will receive 2% crypto cashback for spending in Hong Kong and 4% crypto cashback for spending overseas.
Additionally, HashKey Exchange has launched Hong Kong's first physical gold ETF, the Hang Seng Gold ETF (stock code HSGLD), at 12:00 noon today. The tokenized fund, issued and managed by Hang Seng Investment Management Limited, aims to deliver investment results closely correlated with the London Bullion Market Association gold price performance.
