[etherFi: LayerZero bridging suspended and multiple asset transactions frozen, no direct exposure to rsETH risk for now] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on April 19, etherFi posted on the X platform stating that its Liquid Vault currently has no direct exposure to the Kelp rsETH incident risk. However, as a precautionary measure, it has temporarily suspended the LayerZero cross-chain bridging functionality for weETH and eETH until the root cause of the Kelp rsETH incident is clarified. Additionally, for Liquid (ETH, BTC, USD), sETHFI, and eBTC products, the related Teller contracts have been suspended to block the LayerZero OFT bridging pathway. The deposit and withdrawal functions for the related assets have also been paused. etherFi is currently working closely with security partners and will provide timely updates as more details are confirmed.
