[Iraqi Official: Millions of Barrels of Crude Oil Exports to Be Disrupted Due to Hormuz Strait Closure]
According to a report by Caixin, an Iraqi Ministry of Oil official stated on the 19th local time that the closure of the Hormuz Strait will result in nearly 4 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil exports being disrupted within the next three days. On the 18th, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy issued a statement saying that due to the United States violating its ceasefire commitments and failing to lift the maritime blockade on Iranian ports and vessels, the Hormuz Strait has been closed starting from that evening.
