Iran says Strait of Hormuz closed
According to a report by Golden Finance, on April 19th, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced on the evening of April 18th local time that due to the United States violating the ceasefire agreement and not lifting the blockade on Iranian ships and ports, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed from that evening until the US blockade is lifted. Iran has warned that all ships located in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman must not leave their anchorages, and any approach to the Strait of Hormuz will be considered cooperation with the enemy, with violating vessels becoming targets of attack.
