The latest update to the Binance Wallet plugin introduces mnemonic-derived accounts, and I genuinely think this is one of the most practical features for everyday Web3 use.
With just one set of mnemonics backed up, you can derive up to 99 independent accounts with a single click. Each account is isolated from the others, offering higher security.
No need to save multiple private keys or sets of mnemonics scattered around anymore—this reduces the risk of loss or leaks, and makes backup and recovery much simpler.
It also natively supports multi-chain ecosystems, covering major public chains like EVM, Tron, Solana, TON, SUI, and more.
One account can handle cross-chain asset management without constantly switching between different wallets, making daily use much more convenient.
The search experience is super user-friendly too—you can directly search by account name or address without having to dig around repeatedly.
Combined with Binance’s robust security technology system, it strikes a balance between convenience and reliability under self-custody.
If you often need to manage assets across multiple accounts or interact with multiple chains frequently, upgrading to version 1.12.0 or above is definitely worth it for long-term personal use.
