The "Crypto YouTube Narrative Index" was developed to overcome the limitations of quantitative sentiment indices and to capture a more diverse and nuanced view of market psychology. To ensure the reliability of this index, the following strict criteria were applied 1. YouTubers who unconditionally advocate for bullish views are excluded. 2. YouTubers who focus primarily on long-term cycle-based investment perspectives are excluded. 3. Only YouTubers who present clear directional views on both upside and downside are selected. 4. Only YouTubers with at least 2 years of verifiable track record are included. When there is a significant divergence between this index and the widely referenced “Fear and Greed Index,” it is particularly important to examine the situation more carefully.(mignolet)
