Recently, Bitcoin developers submitted the BIP-361 proposal, planning to phase out ECDSA and Schnorr signatures in three stages, ultimately freezing all wallets that haven't migrated to quantum-resistant addresses. This proposal involves around 1.7 million BTC from early addresses, including Satoshi Nakamoto's 1.1 million BTC. If Satoshi Nakamoto is still alive, he would definitely have moved the coins to new quantum-resistant addresses in recent years. If he hasn't, it means he's really gone.
