Cosmos should've realized earlier the importance of having an OP-like approach—charging for the advanced features of the Cosmos SDK tech stack. If they had, they wouldn't be stuck in this current life-or-death passive situation.
@Optimism bet on a superchain ecosystem like @base and now enjoys a steady stream of revenue sharing from Base as a lifeline.
Terra, Berachain, Akash, dYdX, Injective, Sei—all of these early projects were built on the Cosmos SDK. Yet, they haven’t received even a tiny bit of support or revenue from the ecosystem’s application chains.
And now, here we are. Advanced features aren’t free anymore, and they’re immediately getting backstabbed.
