[Danish Central Bank: Only 4% of Danish Citizens Hold Cryptocurrency, Lower Than Most European Countries] Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on April 16, according to Cointelegraph, the Danish National Bank published a staff paper stating that only 4% of Danish citizens hold cryptocurrency, with no growth observed since 2023. This is lower than European countries such as Norway, Finland, and the United Kingdom, where the holding rate exceeds 10%. The survey shows that most holders have assets below 10,000 Danish kroner, with total holdings estimated at approximately $317 million to $847 million. The report highlights that the long-standing cautious stance of banks, tax factors, and risk concerns have limited the adoption of cryptocurrency. Holders are primarily concentrated among young and high-income groups, with cryptocurrency usage mainly focused on investment rather than payment.
