White House: Trump to Submit "American Triumph Arch" Construction Plan

Golden Finance reported on April 16 that White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated on April 15 local time that U.S. President Trump, along with the Department of the Interior, will submit a proposal for the construction of the "American Triumph Arch" to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Leavitt mentioned that the proposed structure is planned to stand 250 feet tall and will be located in the Columbia Island Memorial Circle area on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., managed by the National Park Service. The project is set to include artistic sculptures and historical exhibits to showcase the development and achievements of the United States over the past 250 years. She noted that construction is planned to begin this year and will be part of the Independence Day and 250th anniversary celebration series, with more related arrangements to be announced in the future.
