[Sources: Lebanon Ceasefire Expected to Take Effect Tonight, Netanyahu May Disrupt Agreement Again]
According to a report by Golden Finance on April 15, citing Lebanon's Al-Mayadeen TV, senior Iranian political and security sources stated that under Iran's supervision and pressure, the Lebanon ceasefire is expected to be approved tonight. Reportedly, the ceasefire will last for one week and will be extended until the end of the ceasefire period between Iran and the United States. The source added that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, as a disruptive factor, may take action again to undermine this agreement. Previously, the Associated Press, citing mediators, reported that the U.S.-Iran ceasefire extension was under discussion, with both sides agreeing in principle to extend the ceasefire period. However, both Iranian sources and another U.S. media outlet later denied this.
