Today, most of the weapons Ukraine uses for various types of operations – long-range, on the battlefield, or in air defense – are produced in Ukraine. This is where the opportunities for our “Drone deals” with different countries come from. The capacity of Ukraine’s defense production is twice as large as what we are using today, simply because we do not have enough funding. We expect Germany, as one of the leaders of the European Union, to help quickly unblock 90 billion. This will allow us to increase the procurement of drones produced in Ukraine. That would put even more of our systems on the battlefield. As for the PURL initiative, this program specifically helps with air defense against ballistic threats. Unfortunately, Europe currently does not have such capabilities. I am 100 percent confident that, eventually, Europe and Ukraine together will produce anti-ballistic systems. But while there is still a shortage of such capabilities, we must protect our people, and the PURL initiative is needed for that.
