Wu Blockchain has learned that the Solana-based multisig protocol Squads reported a poisoning attack targeting user addresses. Attackers are creating fake multisig accounts that resemble real addresses to trick users into making mistakes. This issue is a social engineering attack at the interface level, with no funds lost or protocol vulnerabilities reported so far. The official team advises users not to interact with unknown multisig accounts and plans to introduce risk alerts and a whitelist mechanism.
