Legislation to help in the recovery of Nazi-confiscated art to be returned to Holocaust survivors and their families was signed into law by President Trump today. The Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery Act, which was approved by the Senate in December and the House last month both by voice vote, extends the eligibility for families of Nazi crimes to file lawsuits to recover the artwork by 6 years. The current law expires at the end of the year.(Craig Caplan)
