[Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Bureau Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Cyberspace Administration of China, Covering Key Areas Such as Blockchain] Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on April 13, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of Innovation and Technology' with the Cyberspace Administration of China to promote high-quality development of the digital economy empowered by technological innovation. The memorandum covers key areas such as artificial intelligence, cross-border data, and blockchain, aiming to implement the nation's '15th Five-Year Plan' and support Hong Kong in building an international innovation and technology hub, driving a new real economy centered on technological innovation. Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu stated that Hong Kong will continue to deepen cooperation with the Cyberspace Administration of China to further promote cross-border data flow in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
