Genius Launches Airdrop 'Refund' Option, Allowing Users to Burn 100% GENIUS for Platform Fee Refunds

Foresight News reports that Genius, a Perp DEX trading terminal supported by YZi Labs, announced via Twitter that the team has listened to community feedback and added a 'Refund' option to the airdrop documentation. Users can use the Refund button to burn 100% of their allocated GENIUS tokens in exchange for a refund of the fees collected by Genius. This option will be available for 48 hours after the TGE. Genius also clarified that the refund applies only to net fees, not total fees. Previously, Genius had distributed over $7 million in cash rebates and $1.3 million in referral rewards to the trading community. For example, if the total trading fee is 20 basis points (with 15 basis points from Pancake Swap and 5 basis points from Genius), only the 5 basis points collected by Genius will be refunded. Users who believe holding GENIUS has greater long-term value can make their own choice. The team will continue to listen and collaborate with the community to build together.
