The National Securities Commission of Argentina (CNV) has issued General Resolution No. 1125/2026, officially allowing virtual assets to be included in personal net worth for determining whether individuals meet the 'Qualified Investor' criteria. The new regulation defines virtual assets as representations of value that can be digitally traded, transferred, and used for payments or investments. This means assets like Bitcoin and stablecoins can now be used to offset the approximately $479,000 threshold for qualified investor status. Although the crypto banking ban established in 2022 remains in effect, the Milei administration is actively working to integrate crypto assets into the traditional financial system. (Bitcoin.com)
