The direct talks between the U.S. and Iran just started, and already there’s news about a U.S. warship passing through the strait and the unfreezing of funds. Isn’t this a bit too deliberate? Passing through the strait right at the start of negotiations? Using the ceasefire to deploy military forces deeper into the strait? Doesn’t this mean they can directly reach Kharg Island now? One piece of news benefits the U.S., the other benefits Iran—overall, it feels kind of suspicious. I think we shouldn’t blindly trust the news during negotiations. The battles outside the negotiation table are just as intense, and we can’t rule out the possibility of information warfare or propaganda battles. This move by Trump really fits his "winning" narrative. If a warship actually passed through the strait and destroyed a destroyer during negotiations, there’s no way the Revolutionary Guard wouldn’t react. Looks like it’s probably just recycled domestic propaganda. Otherwise, even the only active player in the crypto space, $BTC, wouldn’t be this unresponsive.
