The US and Iran are highly unlikely to reach an agreement—they fundamentally don't trust each other, plus Israel is stirring things up in the middle. But talks still need to happen, especially for the US, which has to at least put on a show of negotiating. This also gives the pro-peace faction at home an explanation and an opportunity. For us swing traders, the best time for the US-Iran talks is exactly when we sell, and then wait for the right moment to buy back in at the bottom.
