[CZ Responds to 'Binance Offering Temporary Relocation for UAE Employees': Reports Are Misleading, Binance Has Always Provided Flexible Work Location Arrangements]
BlockBeats News, April 11, CZ responded to the news about 'Binance offering temporary relocation for UAE employees,' stating, 'The news reports regarding Binance's "employee relocation plan" are misleading, attempting once again to negatively interpret the UAE, but this is not the case. This is nothing new. Binance has always provided flexible work location arrangements for employees and offers reasonable relocation support based on specific circumstances (as I mentioned in my book). Personally, I believe the UAE remains one of the safest countries in the world, even safer than many popular tourist destinations.'
Previously, according to a report by CoinDesk, due to the situation in the Middle East, Binance offered employees in the UAE the option to temporarily relocate to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok. A Binance spokesperson stated, 'Given the recent regional tensions, we have provided employees with temporary relocation options as a precautionary measure prioritizing employees, offering flexibility and support during uncertain times.' The spokesperson also noted that many employees have chosen to remain in the UAE, and the company's operations in the UAE continue as normal. Binance has approximately 1,000 employees in the UAE, accounting for 20% of its global workforce, with its global operations also supported by Abu Dhabi.
