Coinbase Launches Value Storage Index COINSOV Featuring Bitcoin and Gold

According to Golden Finance, Coinbase Asset Management has announced a collaboration with global index provider MarketVector Indexes to launch the Coinbase Store of Value Index (COINSOV). This index aims to integrate digital assets and traditional assets into a rules-based index framework. The index dynamically adjusts the allocation weights of Bitcoin and gold based on volatility and rebalances quarterly. It seeks to capture Bitcoin's upside potential while maintaining drawdown levels close to those of gold, providing institutional investors with a value storage tool that balances digital and traditional assets.
