[Oil Prices Rise but Remain Below $100/Barrel, Awaiting U.S.-Iran Weekend Talks] Odaily Planet Daily News: Ahead of the U.S.-Iran talks this weekend, oil prices have risen but remain below $100 per barrel. Emmanuel Belostrino, Head of Global Crude Oil and Geopolitical Market Data at Kpler, stated: 'The outcome of the talks, especially whether a feasible maritime navigation agreement can be reached, is a key variable in determining whether the current backlog situation can begin to ease.' During early European trading, both WTI and Brent crude saw short-term gains, currently quoted at $99.7 per barrel and $97.6 per barrel, respectively. Navigation through the Strait of Hormuz remains largely frozen, and supply disruptions continue to keep the market tense. Iran's attack on Saudi Arabia's main export route (the East-West Pipeline) has reduced the pipeline's daily transport capacity by approximately 700,000 barrels. (Jin10)
